FAQs

Frequently Asked
Questions

Common questions from distribution site managers and warehouse candidates about our staffing service.

Do your FLT operators hold a valid forklift licence?

Yes — all FLT operators on our register hold a current RTITB or ITSSAR forklift licence for the relevant truck type. We verify the licence type (counterbalance, reach truck, order picker) matches your site requirements before any placement is confirmed.

Can you provide warehouse supervisors as well as operatives?

Yes — we place warehouse operatives at all levels from entry-level pickers and packers through to experienced shift supervisors and team leaders. Tell us the level of experience you need and we will match accordingly.

Do you offer permanent placements as well as temporary?

Absolutely. We offer temporary cover, ongoing contract arrangements and permanent recruitment across all warehouse roles. Many of our temporary placements convert to permanent positions — we can facilitate this directly with you and the operative.

Can you supply staff for peak periods like Christmas or Black Friday?

Yes — peak period staffing is one of our specialisms. We recommend planning peak requirements at least 4–6 weeks in advance so we can build the right-sized team for your site. Contact us early and we will put a peak staffing plan together with you.

Can you cover short-notice requirements?

We do our best to assist with short-notice requirements. Please contact us directly to discuss your needs and we will do our best to help where we can.

I'm looking for warehouse work — how do I register?

Email your CV to hello@syncstaffing.co.uk with a note about the type of role, shift pattern and location you're looking for. One of our consultants will be in touch to discuss your experience and available opportunities.
