Frequently Asked
Questions
Common questions from transport operators and drivers about our HGV staffing service.
Do your drivers hold valid CPC and Tacho cards?
Yes — 100% of our drivers have a current CPC qualification card and a valid Digital Tachograph card. We verify these before any placement and keep copies on file. No driver is ever placed without both documents being current and valid.
Can you supply Class 1, Class 2 and 7.5t drivers?
Yes — we supply Class 1 (Category C+E articulated), Class 2 (Category C rigid) and 7.5t (Category C1) drivers. We also have ADR-qualified drivers available for hazardous loads. Tell us the licence category you need and we will match accordingly.
Do you offer permanent driver placements as well as temporary?
Absolutely. We offer temporary cover, ongoing contract arrangements and permanent recruitment for all HGV driver categories. Whether you need cover for a specific period or you're building a permanent driver team, we can help.
Can you cover short-notice driver requirements?
We do our best to assist with short-notice requirements. Please contact us directly to discuss your needs and we will do our best to help where we can.
I'm a driver looking for work — how do I register?
Email your CV and a copy of your driving licence to hello@syncstaffing.co.uk with a note on your licence category, experience and availability. One of our consultants will be in touch to discuss opportunities.
Do you cover the whole of the UK?
Yes — we place drivers across the UK. Based in London, our driver network covers major distribution routes, motorway corridors and regional distribution centres nationwide. Contact us with your location and we will confirm availability.
